Thanks to the African Education Program (AEP)’s Scholarship Program, Edith is still in school. AEP’s youth center provides Edith with academic help and extracurricular activities as well, so that she gains the knowledge and skills she needs to attain her goal.

AEP was conceived in 2002 when Radnor High School sophomores decided they wanted to help students affected by poverty and AIDS in Zambia. The non-profit is not only alive today, but thriving. It supports over 200 orphans and vulnerable youth in Zambia through its youth center, scholarship fund, feeding program, academic support programs, and extracurricular activities.

On Wednesday, November 9th, 2016, Co-Founder and Executive Director Julie-Anne Savarit-Cosenza will share her experiences with AEP and how the organization has grown since she received a college scholarship from the Radnor High School Scholarship Fund and the Wayne Rotary Club.
