Coroner Rules Villanova Professor's Death A Suicide
The Chester County Coroner said Haas died from blood loss, but did not say what caused the blood loss.

Christopher Haas, a former Villanova professor who was heading to prison on child pornography charges, was found dead Saturday and his death has officially been ruled a suicide, according to NBC10.
NBC10 reports the Chester County Cornoer said Haas died next to some train tracks from exsanguination, meaning Haas lost from his body leading to death.
While the coroner listed exsanguination as the cause of death, he did not comment on what caused the blood loss, NBC10 reports.

Haas, 60, was hit with hundreds of charges related to child pornography in early 2016.
Haas, who was an associate professor of history and classical studies, was arrested by Radnor Police on March 23.

The Inquirer reports Haas' attorney planned to drive Haas to the federal prison at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.
Haas attorney said the timing of his death was "worrisome," according to the publication.
