Man Finds Burglar In Apartment Tuesday Morning: Lower Merion Police

This is the seventh burglary in Lower Merion Township in less than a month.

ARDMORE, PA – A man walked in a burglar in his Ardmore apartment early Tuesday morning, according to Lower Merion Police. This marks the seventh reported burglary in the township in less than a month.

Police said the man came home to his apartment at on the 200 block of Edgemont Avenue about 3 a.m. to a burglar going through his items.

Police said the suspect got into the apartment by breaking a first-floor window and once inside took an iPad.

The suspect is a white male with black hair, a thin mustache, and a stocky build, police said. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the back and black sweatpants, police said.

He was last seen running through back yards on Edgemont Avenue, police said.

In late April, Zion Baptist Church was burglarized and cash was stolen.

An Ardmore Avenue residence was burglarized May 6 when computer, tablet, cash, and jewelry was stolen from the residence.
