• LH residents arrested for kidnapping, assault (lockhaven.com) — Two Lock Haven residents face kidnapping and aggravated assault charges after state police say a drug deal gone bad in Renovo Borough led to a woman being taken against her will, injured, and driven to Beech Creek Mountain. The victim reportedly sought help while at Bucktail Medical Center, and both suspects were arraigned with $50,000 bail and hearings set for early October.
   

• Police News – Sept. 30 (lockhaven.com) — State police at Lamar detail several recent incidents, including a serious hit-and-run involving a horse and buggy near Beech Creek and a rockslide-related crash on Renovo Road in Grugan Township. The report also covers a DUI stop, a drug possession case at Central Mountain High School, found property on US 220, and a trespassing call later deemed a civil matter.
