1 Dead, Others Hurt In Philadelphia House Fire Tuesday: Reports
The fire broke out Tuesday morning at a home in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city. Several pets were rescued from the building.

PHILADELPHIA – One person is reported dead and at least two others hurt after a house fire broke out in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section Tuesday morning.
The Philadelphia Fire Department responded to the 2500 block of North Newkirk Street at about 9:16 a.m.
By about 9:35 a.m. the fire department had the fire under control.

Fox29 reports a 71-year-old woman was trapped inside the home and was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
At least two other people were taken to Temple University Hospital and are in unknown condition, Action News reports.

A dog, a cat, and three turtles were recovered from the scene and are in good condition, according to Red Paw Emergency Relief Team.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
