2017 Roxtoberfest: What You Need To Know

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – Get ready Roxborough, the fifth annual Roxtoberfest is all set for early October and promises food, music, activities, and of course beer.
The yearly festival that turns Roxborough into a little slice of Germany will be held from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7 along Ridge Avenue between Lyceum and Leverington avenues in Roxborough.
In 2017, attendees will be able to enjoy carnival games, local beer, area performers, and food trucks.

Participating food vendors are: Chef D'Angelo German Food Tent, Glammy's Funnel Cakes and Cookies, Mom-Mom's Polish Food Cart, Pound Foot Coffee, Side of the Road Jerk Chicken, Smokin' Tacos, The Baker's Jar, The Roaming Raven, and The Tot Cart.
Music from Ben Arnold, Polkadelphia, Kicking Down Doors, Ralph Salerno, Joe D'Urso & Stone Caravan, and Scott Bricklin & Steve Butler.

Additionally, volunteer opportunities are still available all day from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. See volunteer opportunities online here.
Free parking is available during the event at the DuPont Municipal Parking Lot, 514 DuPont St.; and the Leverington Municipal Parking Lot, 465 Leverington Ave. and 4549 Mitchell St.
Roxtoberfest is free to attend.
