Academy In Manayunk Buys 4.5-Acre Conshocken Location
As the school has grown, finding a larger place to operate has been crucial. Now, AIM has a 71,000-square-foot location for its students.

AIM, or Academy in Manayunk, has made a property purchase to better accommodate its growing student body and increasing demands.
AIM recently bought River Park 2 at1 200 River Road in Conshohocken to house its 321 students during school days.
“As AIM’s community and our student body have grown, so have our needs for increased space to provide unique programs and recreation space,” AIM Executive Director Pat Roberts said. “Purchasing the 4.5 acre River Park 2 space outright stabilizes the future of our growing school and allows us to look ahead to educating children and educators today and in the future.”

The River Park 2 location is 71,000 square feet and is home to Lower, Middle and Upper school classrooms, administrative space, conference rooms for professional development, and student support services including occupational therapy and speech and language therapy.
“We have called this building on River Road AIM’s home since moving our students here exactly five years ago,” AIM Associate Director Nancy Blair said. “The purchase of the building will not only bring cost savings
to our non-profit school, but also increases our opportunities to foster evidence-based learning programs, share our experiences with others and allow bright students who learn differently to discover their passion and prepare for college and careers."
