Armed Robbery At Roxborough 7-Eleven Tuesday Night: Police

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – A 7-Eleven store in Roxborough was robbed at gunpoint late Tuesday night, according to Philadelphia Police.

The store located on the 6100 block of Ridge Avenue was robbed at 11:48 p.m. Tuesday June 6, police said.

The suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at an employee, and demanded money, police said.

He was last seen heading north on Ridge Avenue after fleeing the store with cash and cigarette lighters, police said.

The suspect is described as a male who was wearing a white mask and gray hoodie, police said.

Police told the 6ABC they are attempting obtaining security footage to track down the suspect.

No one was injured in the robbery and it's unclear how much money was taken, according to 6ABC.

Back in May, another 7-Eleven in Roxborough at 5632 Ridge Ave. was robbed by two men at gunpoint.

One of the suspects was arrested while the other is still on the loose.
