Beer, Ice Sculptures To Highlight Manayunk Event Sunday

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – Manayunk is gearing up for the release of Solid Gold Premium Lager from Founders Brewing Company with a community celebration that will be complete with ice sculptures and a beer garden.

On Sunday, March 4, Canal View Park will host an Ice Beer Garden as part of the "Founders Philly Freezeout" event, which runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Nearly 20 Manayunk bars, restaurants, and retailers will feature ice sculptures of their "spirit animals" at their storefronts to create a winter wonderland in Manayunk as spring approaches.

You can get tickets to the beer garden by purchasing a Founders Brewing Co. product at these participating bars and restaurants up until March 4:

Canal View Park will be host to the main attraction Ice Sculpture from world renowned sculptor Peter Slavin.
