Bobtoberfest 4 Mile Run Along the Schuylkill

The Bobtoberfest  4 Mile Run will take place on October 8, 2016 at 5:30pm at Lloyd Hall, 1 Boathouse Row, in Philadelphia.

Bryn Mawr Running Company and Racing Company proudly present the 10th Annual Bobtoberfest 4 Mile Run. 

This race is characterized by the Oktoberfest theme with race staff dressed in traditional German festive clothing. Organizers are encouraging participants to also dress in the Oktoberfest theme. 

The 4 mile race will take place along Boathouse Row and Lloyd hall. The course will go out 2 miles and back on a flat scenic course. 

Bobtoberfest will be timed using MyLaps Bibtags. Awards will be provided for overall runners and age group winners by the Bryn Mawr Running Company and Brooks. The event will be continuing their epic post-race party at the Bachelors Barge Club (Boathouse #6). There will be traditional German refreshments at the party. 

Race proceeds will again benefit the ALS Foundation in honor of former BMRC club president Tom Corrigan. Visit the ALS Link for more details. BMRC has donated over $9,000 to ALS. Schedule: 4:00pm-5:20pm – Registration; 5:30pm – 4 mile race; 6:30pm – Awards and post-race party. Cost: $20 thru 8/23; $25 thru 9/7; $30 thru 10/7; $40 race day.
