After the Conventions the Party Faithfull’s are all up and charged with energy. Their goals are clear - Vote for Obama or Romney. But what about the rest of the ticket?
Do you know the other candidates running? Or do you have these candidates grouped in their Party and figure it will be easier to push the BIG button – D or R?
The political “experts” tell me that the majority of the voters will vote Straight Party.

Well, I also need the voters that will split their ticket to vote for me in November. I am talking to the Democrat Voters now. I know it is “hard” to vote for a Republican, any Republican. Well, I am not “any” Republican. I am a “Local” Republican. I was born and raised in the Northwest section of Philadelpia. Coming home to Philly in 1979 the city was worse than when I left it in 1970 and the two party system was crumbling. Checks and Balances did not exist. So I then became active within the Republican Party to offer a choice.
30 plus years later …. It is still a mess and the Republican Party is weaker. (but there is new life in the R’s – that’s another story..) And I am running for office, again, to try to convince my constituency that I have their interests in mind and have ideas that can change people’s lives for the better. I am a moderate republican running in an atmosphere of the straight ticket. Are there any voters that are splitting their ticket?

Linda is running for State Representative in the 194th district. She is one of the few Republican St. Representative candidates running in Philadelphia.
