They're going to the Super Bowl!
Two local businessmen win big in North Light Community Center's Super Bowl XLVII raffle.

Keith Conroy and Chris Schmidt were the lucky winners of North Light's raffle drawing, held on Sunday, December 9th at the McGillicuddy’s in Roxborough. They'll be flying to New Orleans for five days and four nights in February. "Laissez les bons temps rouler"!
Thanks go to North Light’s “awesome” friend, Don Tollefson, for making the trip, valued at over $14,000, possible through his foundation "One Child Saved/Winning Ways". The charity, founded by Tolly in 1990 encourages underprivileged children in the Delaware Valley to live life in a positive way. The program allows these children to go on trips to sporting events all over the country.
The raffle raised over $10,000 to help keep programs and services at North Light available to the children, teens and families most in need in our neighborhood. Founded in 1936, North Light’s mission is to enable people of all ages and abilities in our communities, especially those most in need, to reach their full potential as productive and responsible citizens through initiatives that support and enrich children, teens, and families. North Light’s vision is to support and strengthen our diverse neighborhoods by meeting the evolving needs of individuals and families, working to develop the whole person from educating to providing sustenance, and thus, cultivate a vibrant community. Current offerings include year-round childcare for school age children, tutoring, youth development programs, arts and recreation, emergency supports, parenting workshops, teen employment, and neighborhood access to technology.
