All of the updates are due to the hard work of Meredith Podob, the new proprietor and creative brain behind ’ recent renovations. We spoke to Meredith about what she loves most about Latitudes and Longitudes, her favorite item in her shop, and, of course,—her favorite spot to eat here in Manayunk.
Chew Philly: Congratulations on the new ownership! What made you realize that you felt passionately about the shop, and wanted to play a larger role?
Meredith Podob: I used to work for the previous owner when I was in college, and helped out on occasion when she needed someone to fill in. I always felt that the previous owner had a very nice store. I come from a family that is business oriented...
