The Philadelphia Airport stopped traffic due to plane emergency early Friday.
The Federal Aviation Administration announced around 9:15 a.m. that the airport had reopened:

Eyewitnesses on Twitter reported seeing the plane possibly making an emergency landing with smoke coming out of the aircraft.
Fox29 reported that a plane had been evacuated after two planes made emergency landings at the Philadelphia International Airport. One of the planes reported steering problems; the other reported smoke in the cockpit, according to the report.
Both planes had landed safely, according to the report. Passengers were evacuated immediately following the landing of the plane reporting smoke in the cockpit.
The airport released this statement following the incident:
:An American Eagle pilot declared an emergency and made an emergency landing at approximately 8:30 AM. All passengers were taken off the aircraft safely and taken to the terminal. No injuries were reported."
