On Saturday & Sunday, January 7 & 8, 2017, The Boar's Head & Yule Log Festival will take place at St. Peter's Church in Lafayette Hill. This will be the Church's 36th production. Both days will include performances at 1 pm, 4 pm, & 7 pm.

The Boar's Head Festival originated at Queen's College, Oxford, England in 1340. The Festival celebrates the Epiphany when the Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem to honor the birth of Jesus. At St. Peter's it begins with a tiny sprite bearing a lighted candle symbolizing the coming of the Light into the darkened world. The Festival continues with a brass fanfare, Lords and Ladies of the Manor, King Wenceslas, woodsmen, shepherds, the Cameron Highland Pipe Band, drummers and the Beefeaters who are the fabled ceremonial guards of the Tower of London. Finally, the Three Kings arrive bringing their gifts to Mary, Joseph and the Christ Child. The whole family will be inspired and entertained. Those assembled are asked to join in carol singing along with the choir and cast of nearly 200 people.

St. Peter's is handicapped accessible with valet parking when needed. Free parking is available.
