Conshohocken's AIM Welcomes Kevan Turman as New Director of Institutional Advancement
AIM Academy announced the appointment of Kevan Turman as the school's new Director of Institutional Advancement.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – AIM Academy recently named Kevan L. Turman as its new Director of Institutional Advancement. Turman, the former Interim Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, begins his new role on August 22.
“AIM Academy has experienced unprecedented growth over the last ten years and I am happy
to be joining such a dynamic Institution with great promise for the future,” Turman said. “I am
excited to help AIM Academy and the AIM Institute for Learning & Research build new levels
of support.”

Turman, 37, holds a bachelor’s degree in English Education and a master’s degree in the Science
of Reading from Lincoln University. He will oversee a $1.5 - $2.5 million annual budget,
including annual giving, scholarships, major gifts, grant requests and special event fundraising.
This effort will include the completion of AIM's $10 million capital campaign for its new AIM
Community Center, which includes a gymnasium, performing arts center and teacher-training
center. In addition, he will supervise a development team responsible for growing AIM’s
endowment, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding communications and business
development.

Executive Director. “Kevan’s expertise in building community and academic partnerships will

Previously, Turman served as Lincoln University’s Associate Vice President of Development,
campaign manager for the University’s Student First Campaign and Special Assistant to the
President. Prior to returning to Lincoln in 2012, he held the position of Associate Director of
alumni clubs and young alumni programs at the University of Delaware. A native of
Philadelphia, Turman and his wife Kalisha reside in Newark, Delaware with their two children,
Isaiah and Kayla.
