Craft Beer Bar Chain Coming To Manayunk: Report

The Brass Tap, which offers a slew of brews fresh from the tap, is planning to open a franchise location in Manayunk in the future.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — A Florida-based craft beer bar chain is planning to open one of its newest locations in the heart of Manayunk.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports The Brass Tap will add Manayunk to its extensive list of franchised locations.

According to the outlet, franchisees Danielle and Izak Du Plooy are hoping to open the new spot at 177 Markle St. in late 2023 or early 2024.

Brass Tap touts about 40 locations across the country, though many are located in the south, according to its website.

The new location will feature 30 taps for beers and also serve wine and liquor.

For food, the menu is largely full of American fare classics, such as wings, burgers, pizza, and more.
