"This is my favorite time of the year and I wanted to do something special," said owner James Morrissey. "My eight-year-old daughter Sophia (the restaurant’s namesake) asked me if we could collect toys to give to families in need this December. I thought that was a fantastic idea, so my team decided to go all out and host a toy drive at both SOMO locations (Manayunk and South Philly), complete with photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, ice sculptures created by ice artist Peter Slavin, and complimentary tater tot poutine for anyone who brings unwrapped gifts during the weekend of December 14th."
