Eagles Player Reportedly Accused of Rape

Philadelphia, PA -- Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor has been accused of sexual assault by a woman at a strip club, according to multiple media reports.

Two other Eagles were with Agholor at the Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club when the incident occurred, Philly Magazine reports.

One of the dancers at the club alleged Agholor sexually assaulted her, NBC 10 notes.

Police are investigating the incident are attempting to obtain video footage from the club, reports state.

The Eagles are aware of the alleged incident and released a brief statement:

"We are aware of the police investigation involving Nelson Agholor. The organization has been in contact with Nelson and with the proper authorities in Philadelphia. Because of the legal nature of this matter, we will have no further comment."

Agholor was drafted by the Eagles in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

The names of the two other players are unknown.
