Rabbi Yael Levy, Mishkan Shalom’s Rabbinic Director of Spiritual Development and author of Journey Through the Wilderness: A Mindfulness Approach to the Ancient Jewish Practice of Counting the Omer, is presenting a free class on the practice of Counting the Omer. An ancient agricultural practice outlined in the Torah, Counting the Omer has become an opportunity for personal introspection and spiritual growth. It begins on the second night of Passover (April 7) and runs for 49 days, to Shavuot (May 26). The class is for beginners as well as people who have taken on this practice in the past. Everyone is invited.
