Free Fitness Classes at Journey's Way

In observance of National Health & Fitness Day May 23 and Older Americans Month in May, the Center at Journey’s Way, 403 Rector St., is offering one free class to a newcomer, or member and newcomer who come together May 21-May 25. These classes, designed for people 55+, help with focus, relaxation, strength, and flexibility. Research shows that exercise is especially important for weight and diabetes management!  Choose from aerobics, chair aerobics, line dancing, Tai chi, Yoga, or Zumba.  To RSVP or for further information about these programs and other activities and services, please call Journey’s Way at 215-487-1750.

The Center at Journey’s Way, a division of Intercommunity Action, Inc, welcomes adults 55+ all year around.  Programs and classes include:  fitness, technology, art and trips; services such as transportation assistance to the Center, doctors, food shopping; home maintenance; volunteer opportunities; cold and hot lunches; and much more.
