Join us on a guided hike to see the largest trees in our forest, some with a circumference of over 10 feet. Learn why these trees grew so big, and how they escaped the saw blade in a time when all the land's resources were harvested for use by man. We'll also learn simple ways to identify these species by their winter characteristics. Our walk will take us through old fields, past ruins, and into steep ravines. Come prepared to hike! If there is snow cover on the ground, bring snowshoes.
