Falls Bridge Closing Saturday: Philadelphia Police
A fundraiser event will be held on the bridge itself for several hours Saturday, which will close the bridge for about 12 hours.
PHILADELPHIA – Falls Bridge is set to close this weekend, as a fundraiser event will take place on the bridge itself, according to Philadelphia Police.
According to police, the Schuylkill River-spanning bridge will close from 10 a.m. to about 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The event, ScholarSips on the Falls Bridge, will run from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., but crews will be setting up and tearing down before and after the event, police said.
