Fatal Hit And Run Suspect's Photo Released

The man is considered a person of interest in the early morning Aug. 6 crash that killed 53-year-old Ann P. Broderick.

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Police released additional photos related to the fatal hit and run that occurred Aug. 6 in Center City.

In a press conference Friday, police provided updated information regarding the deadly crash, as well as photos of a person of interest and of the vehicle.

The victim, 53-year-old Ann P. Broderick, was crossing the street when she was struck by a white, four-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon heading east at about 3:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 on the 1300 block of Race Street.

Broderick was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital and pronounced dead at 3:49 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the vehicle is not a standard Rubicon, as it features a lifted chassis, larger tires, and black fenders.

The vehicle also has a white top, large tires, and a spare tire attached to the rear of the vehicle.

Police said the vehicle should have front-end damage due to the crash, but the damage may not be visible due to the vehicles raised height.
