Firstrust Announces 5th Annual “Business First Awards”

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., (Nov. 10, 2016) – Firstrust Bank announced the start of its 5th Annual Business First Awards which shines a spotlight on local businesses making a positive difference as nominated and voted on by the public.

Unique to Business First Awards, the public nominates and votes on the businesses that positively impact their communities. Last year more than 1000 area businesses were nominated and the top winner, Weisman Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital, shared its grand prize of $20,000 with The New Jersey Pediatric Patients’ Charitable Trust Fund, Inc.

The public is encouraged to nominate their own businesses, or another deserving local business on the Business First Awards website: www.bizfirstawards.com.

Prizes will include:

· Grand Prize (1):

• $20,000 to split with their selected charity
• (4) 76ers or Flyers Tickets in regular season (based on availability and on a date mutually agreed upon)
• Business name in Firstrust promotional and public relations activities
• Free financial consultation for their business
• Mention on the Firstrust website
• Business featured on Firstrust’s I-76 billboard

· Runners Up (3):

• $5,000 to share with their selected charity
• Mention on the Firstrust website
• Business featured on Firstrust’s I-76 billboard

· Four Sweepstakes Prizes:

• Each winner will receive $500 VISA gift card

How to Participate:

Participants can self-nominate their own business, or can nominate another business. Entries will be accepted until December 5, 2016.

Once the nomination period is closed, a panel of judges will determine the top finalists, which will be announced on the Firstrust website www.firstrust.com, the awards website www.bizfirstawards.com and on Facebook.

The top finalists will enter the public voting period beginning January 25, 2017. Voters will be able to place one vote per day for their favorite entry through March 3, 2017.

Winners will be selected between March 4 and March 13, 2017. Winners will be announced March 13, 2017.
