'Fitness Night' Is Thursday In Manayunk

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – Manayunk's popular Stroll the Street events are going strong, and this week's theme wants to make you strong, as Thursday's Stroll the Street is all about fitness (even with food and drink specials and food trucks).

"Fitness Night" begins at 5 p.m. with workout classes on Cotton Street.

Check out the schedule for the evening:

• 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. – Bootcamp with Never Give Up Training
• 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. – Group run/Bootcamp/Barre with Philadelphia Runner, Goals Fit, and The Wall Cycling Studio (bring your own mat) - Meet at Cotton Street
• 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. – Group run with Manayunk Beer Runners; yoga with Roots2Rise (bring your own mat)

After your workout, you can refuel with these food trucks: Blendlife Co., Summer J. Artisan Ice Pops LLC., Hai Street Kitchen and Co. US, and The Flying Pie Guy.

Seventeen Manayunk eateries and watering holes are offering food and drink specials as well to help you recharge after working up a sweat:

Shopping will be available at Pineapple on Main, The Wall Cycling Studio, Merge Dance Studio, The Spiral Bookcase, and Millay.

Next week's theme is "Movie Night" and will feature a screening of the baseball classic "The Sandlot."
