Money raised during the month will support the Girl Experience: a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges, going on awesome trips, selling cookies, exploring science, getting outdoors, and doing community service projects.
Every Saturday in February, select stores will host cookie booths from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"The beloved Girl Scout Cookie Program provides girls as young as five-years-old an opportunity to learn important business skills and experience financial independence for the first time," said Kim Fraites-Dow, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA. "Through the cookie program, girls not only get a taste for entrepreneurship, they also get to give back by investing the proceeds into Girl Scout programs, camps, and training – learning in the process that entrepreneurship and community-building go hand-in-hand."
