Goodbye Roxborough-Manayunk

This editor is moving on.

Although my time at Patch has been brief, I've learned a lot about the Roxborough and Manayunk communities.

I have, and watched

And that is why today, my last day as editor of the Roxborough-Manayunk Patch, is bittersweet. I am excited that I am moving on to pursue a Master's degree, but sad that I won't be able to work with all the people who are so dedicated to improving this area.

I think that's what attracted me to journalism in the first place, and especially hyper-local news. I love talking to people about something they are passionate about and telling amazing stories about "average" people.

I know the conversation will continue with Sam Fran Scavuzzo, a former editor of the site, taking the reins. I look forward to the new, exciting things that will be happening in Roxborough-Manayunk and I will be sure to check my Patch daily.
