Gorgas Park Farmers' Market Debuts Friday

Kicking off the summer season, debuts its weekly Farmers' Market. From 2 to 6 p.m. Friday residents can check out offerings from New Jersey-based farm—The McCann's Farm.

Anita Hepler from the Elk, NJ, farm said the following will be available this Friday:

• Strawberries
• Asparagus
• Buttercrunch Lettuce
• Vegetable seedlings
• Flower
• Herbs
• Honey

Also, Saturday is the park's annual May Fair. On May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Rock 'n' The Ridge Car Show & May Fair hosts music, crafts, cars—and Patch. The news website will have a booth all day with merchandise.
