Halloween Hikes, Hayrides Coming To Schuylkill Center

The Schuylkill Center is hosting mystery-filled hikes, nature-inspired activities, and scavenger hunt hayrides next weekend.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — The Schuylkill Center in Roxborough is getting into the fall and Halloween season by hosting Halloween Hikes and Hayrides next weekend.

On Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23, the center will welcome guests for spooktacular mystery-filled hikes, nature-inspired activities, and scavenger hunt hayrides through its moonlit forest.

There will be a giant spider web to crawl through and a craft station to make leaf luminaries. Enjoy s’mores by the campfire, food from 2 Street Sammies food truck, and a Halloween movie on the lawn after sunset as we celebrate the spirit of the season.

Masks are required. Guests should dress for the weather and bring a flashlight. The event will be postponed in case of inclement weather with rain dates the following weekend.

Hours are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. both days.
