Halloween In Manayunk Set For October 22
Costume parades, a 50x50 corn maze, games, crafts, live music, beer garden, and much more.

MANAYUNK, PA -- Halloween is coming early to Manayunk this year, will celebrations commencing on Saturday, October 22.
The Manayunk Development Corporation will host a day full of family friendly events in the heart of the neighborhood.
Things will begin at 10 a.m. at the Pretzel Park Farmer's Market with a variety of vendors and a North Lights Community Center-sponsored children's activity table.

According to a press release, kids and dogs costume parades will begin at noon at Pretzel Park. Parades will continue along Cotton Street and end at Venice Island. Games, arts, and crafts, in addition to a 50 x 50 corn maze for kids, will be on hand.
“Manayunk is always a fun and safe place for the family to celebrate Halloween and we pride ourselves in that,” Jane Lipton, Executive Director of the Manayunk Development Corporation, said in a statement. “With the wide variety of activities that we have planned for all ages, our neighborhood is one of the best in Philadelphia to celebrate the holiday.”

Live music and a beer garden, along with BBQ, will be on hand at Pretzel Park.
Several businesses on Main Street will have trick or treating starting at 11 a.m.
Pick up a Halloween bag at the tent on Main and Cotton. Orange pumpkins outside stores indicate that they will be giving away candy.
