Harriton Alum Opens New Manayunk Restaurant
The menu is divided into three categories; Land, Sea, and Earth.

MANAYUNK -- A brand new restaurant in Manayunk has been opened by an alumnus of Harriton High School.
Craig Wilson, chef and owner, is a Harriton alum, according to the Lower Merion Community Network.
Wilson has opened Maya J on 4371 Main Street in Manayunk.

According to the restaurant’s website:
The menu is divided into three categories; Land, Sea and Earth, and is defined by each plate’s main ingredient. For example, the LAND portion of the menu includes plates such as: Fire Roasted Chicken Tandoori, Braised Short Ribs and Israeli Couscous; SEA - Tom Yum Goong, Crispy Calamari, and Fish Tacos; and EARTH - Bombas, Thai Yellow Curry, and a Grilled Tofu Kabob. “Our small plate menu has been designed for sharing; we want our customers to enjoy a multicultural and unique dining experience,” says Chef Wilson.

The website adds that sustainability and locally sourced products are very important to the farm to table mission of the restaurant.
Influences include Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Modern American, Spanish and Mediterranean.
The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Sunday at 4 p.m.
