LeSean McCoy Sued By Cops After Nightclub Fight
ESPN reports that former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is being sued by the police officers who were injured in a bar fight in February.

Former Philadelphia Eagle LeSean McCoy is being sued by two Philadelphia police officers who were injured in a bar fight involving the star running back earlier this year.
According to ESPN, the suit was filed by officers Darnell Jessie and Roland Butler Tuesday morning in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. An attorney for the officers said that both had suffered serious and permanent injuries as a result of the fight.
McCoy, who now plays for the Buffalo Bills, was named alongside three others who were with him in the Recess Lounge that night. Curtis Brinkley, Christopher Henderson, and Tamarcus Porter are also being sued.

The group was in the Old City night club at around 2:45 a.m. on February 6. The incident was sparked by an argument over the “ownership” of a bottle of champagne, according to police.
The officers, who were both 40-years-old, were “punched, kicked, and stomped” by the four players, police said.

In the ensuing melee, two off-duty officers suffered cuts, a broken nose, a sprained thumb, and a possible skull fracture, police said.
Security guards were eventually able to break up the fight and ejected all six from the club.
Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams announced in April that no charges would be filed against McCoy.
McCoy is a Philadelphia native and the Eagles’ all-time franchise leading rusher.
