Local Middle School tours the culinary trade at Applebee's

Students from the Warren G. Harding Middle School will be visiting the Castor Ave. Applebee’s in Philadelphia on February 17th to tour the building and learn a bit about how the culinary industry operates. The sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders will tour the wait staff ‘front of the house’ aspect of the business, as well as the behind the scenes kitchen and ‘back of the house’ side of the industry. With the resurgence of vo-tech schools and the nation revisiting the importance of trade education, the Castor Ave. Applebee’s stands to help strengthen students’ knowledge of what opportunities and career paths lay before them.
