Lyft Giving Discounted Rides To Top Valentine's Day Destinations

PHILADELPHIA – Are you going out in Philadelphia for your Valentine's Day celebration? If so, and your destinations happen to be either Cinemark University City, the Kimmel Center, or Sampan, you can get a discounted ride there.

In 2017, those three spots were Lyft's top three date locations, and this year the rideshare pros are offering 20 percent off rides to those destinations.

If you're heading there, just enter the VDAY18PHL code to get your discount. The money you save can be used for dessert or another glass of wine perhaps.

Not only is Lyft offering the discount, it provided some interesting stats about its Valentine's Day rides.

Check out some of these 2017 Valentine's Day stats:

• Passengers took Lyft rides most at 6 p.m.;
• there was a 22 percent increase in passengers choosing to split the fare;
• there was an 13 percent increase in Lyft Line rides on Valentine’s Day 2017;
• and passengers showed their appreciation for Lyft drivers with a tips increase of 11.5 percent.
