Manayunk Christmas Tree Lighting Set For Nov 21

Don't miss music, hot chocolate, and even a visit from Santa Claus at the annual tree lighting in Manayunk.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — The holiday season is upon us, and with the holiday season comes the Manayunk Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

This year, the fun begins at 6 p.m., with the tree being lit at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 21.

The lighting will take place in Canal View park, 4420 Main St.

In addition to watching the tree light up for the season, attendees will be able to enjoy entertainment and see Old Saint Nick.

Merge Dance Studio, Delaware Valley Opera Company, St. Joseph’s University a cappella group. 54th & City, The Salvation Army, and Santa Claus will be at the lighting.

There will also be hot chocolate

In addition, guests will be encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys to donate to North Light Community Center’s holiday toy drive and The Salvation Army will have a small music ensemble to welcome guests and collect donations to those in need.
