Manayunk to Host Promenade of Trees Saturday

MANAYUNK, PA — Saturday is the Holiday Festival in Philadelphia and Manayunk is hosting a special "Promenade of Trees" to kickoff the season.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. on December 3 as guests gather in Canal View Park on 4428 Main Street.

Twenty-seven businesses along Main Street and surrounding thoroughfares will decorate the trees in holiday themes of the past, present, and future, according to organizers with the Manayunk Development Corporation.

Guests and celebrity judges will be led by carolers down the street for official judging.
