Manayunk Restaurants Providing Hot Meals For Families In Need
Numerous Manayunk restaurants will be preparing and delivering more than 1,000 meals to area families in need this weekend.
MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — In the season of giving, various Manayunk establishments are teaming up to provide meals for families in need.
Early in the morning on Sunday, Dec. 22, numerous Manayunk restaurants will be preparing meals until about 8 a.m. at Bourbon Blue, 2 Rector St.
Participating restaurants are Journey’s Way, Bourbon Blue, Cactus Cantina, Craft Manayunk, The Goat’s Beard, Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar, JD McGillicuddy’s, Lucky’s Last Chance, Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant, Manayunk Tavern, Sona Pub and Kitchen, The Spicy Belly, Union Tap House, Winnie’s Manayunk.

More than 1000 hot meals will be delivered to Intercommunity Action, Inc.'s program, Journey's Way.
Other local shops and restaurants have been collecting canned goods, toiletries, and paper products for North Light Community Center’s food cupboard throughout the holiday season.
