Manayunk Retailers Preparing for Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is this weekend and local retailers are gearing up for the celebration, which will feature the Manayunk Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 pm in Canal View Park

In addition to shopping specials, local businesses will have various activities to enhance shopping that day, including photos with Santa and carolers.

Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrated annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Before you start shopping small, register your AMEX card online and American Express will give you a $10 statement credit if you spend $10 or more in a single, in-store transaction at a qualifying small business on Small Business Saturday.
