Manayunk's SOMO Offering Special New Year's Eve Dinner

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – New Year's Eve offers up lots of celebrations. From ticketed black-tie parties, to cheap well drinks at your local watering hole, there is something for everyone to ring in the New Year. And SOMO in Manayunk is offering a special dinner event for the year-end celebration.

On Dec. 31, SOMO will offer a three-course Surf & Turf Prix Fixe menu to ring in the New Year, complete with Dom Pérignon champagne.

"We wanted to set a sensible price fixed option along with our regular menu on December 31st," said proprietor James Morrissey. "We’re offering a ridiculously insane price on what is considered by many to be the best champagne in the world! At $35 per glass, we’re selling Dom for cost!"

SOMO Surf and Turf - Warm Water Lobster Tail; Petite Filet; Truffle Butter; Winter Vegetable Risotto
Dessert
SOMO duet - Chocolate Truffle Tart; Espresso Panna Cotta with Blackberry compote and Creme Chantilly

The regular menu will also be available that evening along with live music.

Guests who dine at SOMO on New Year's Eve will also be treated to complimentary champagne for a toast at midnight.
