Missing N.Y. Woman Found After Night in Manayunk

A 23-year-old Staten Island woman feared missing after a night in Manayunk has been found safe by authorities, according to WABC News in New York.

According to reports, Megan Thompson, was with friends at Lucky’s Last Chance Thursday night and last seen getting into a cab with a female companion at 1:30 a.m. When the taxi arrived at the destination a few blocks away, the other passenger exited the vehicle and paid the fare, but it was unclear if Thompson also got out.

Friends reported Thompson as missing and a search by the Philadelphia and New York police ensued, ending later in the afternoon when the NYPD informed Philly officers that Thompson had been located.
