Dining for Dollars, sponsored by the 21st Ward Fourth of July Parade Association, runs from 5 pm to 9 pm, when Pina’s will donate 10% of all sales to support the Independence Day Parade of Sunday Schools and Churches. Enjoy a mouth-watering and delicious selection of steaks or chicken steaks, hoagies, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, wings, homemade pasta, Italian specialties, seafood, and of course, pizza! The 21st Ward Fourth of July Association is pleased to announce that St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Manayunk, celebrating 185 years of service to Christ and Community, will be first in the line of march. St. John the Baptist has chosen Psalms 127:1 (adapted from New American Bible) as the Parade Theme, “If the Lord does not build the house, then in vain do the builders labor."
