Mummers in Manayunk Parade Postponed Due to Forecast

Due to inclement weather forecasted for this weekend, the parade has been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 28.

The Mummers in Manayunk parade originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to weather, organizers announced Thursday. The parade will be held next Saturday, February 28 at 10 a.m.

Forecasters are predicting snow and sleet this weekend.

“The event will bring the city of Philadelphia together to celebrate the tradition of Mummery while doubling as a fundraiser to benefit the most beloved tradition in the city. The fundraising will help with maintaining the costumes and pageantry worn by the string bands,” organizers said in a statement.
