Neighborhood Flag Campaign Catches Media's Attention

 residents Erin and Eddie Turner's effort to rally around Chuck Loughery, a World War II veteran.

Loughery, in his 80s, is a long-time resident and is known for flying flags outside his home. Over the weekend, someone stole the flags, and dumped some of them at the Manayunk Avenue construction site.

Though he replaced the flags, the Turners wanted to demonstrate the neighborhood won't support that kind of vandalism. Erin and Eric are asking residents to fly American flags on their properties to be in solidarity with Loughery.
