Out and Back Party Run

Out and Back Party Run – April 29, 2016 – 7:00pm

Please join us for the 20th running of The Out & Back Party Run, a popular 5K road run and after-party that connects runners from Philadelphia and surrounding areas for an evening of running and socializing. The new Fairmount Park House Course promises a picturesque run you don’t see every day. The famed after party will be held again this year right at the finish line, on the grounds of the beautifully restored Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse. It’s the same great party with free food, live music from great local band, Hidden Agenda, and frosty beverages. Proceeds from the event benefit the ALS Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of ALS patients and their families right here in Philadelphia. Our goal is to plan and execute an enjoyable event, while raising awareness for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Through the support of our event participants and sponsors, the Out & Back Party Run raised over $50,000 last year. Please consider fundraising or making a donation to the ALS Hope Foundation. No amount is too small in the fight against this debilitating and fatal disease. NEW THIS YEAR: MORE FAMILY FRIENDLY! The Smith Memorial Playground will be OPEN for your kids’ enjoyment until roughly 8:30 pm on race night. Cost: $35 until 2/29; $40 until 3/31; $45 until 3/28.
