Parks On Tap Comes To Manayunk's Pretzel Park This Weekend

Stop by Pretzel Park Wednesday through Sunday to enjoy one of the last installments of the Parks on Tap roving beer garden this summer.

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – The popular roving beer garden program Parks on Tap is heading to Pretzel Park in Manayunk, offering up beers, cocktails, food, and more in the park all weekend.

The park will begin hosting the garden at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Pretzel Park's beer garden hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.

  • Sept. 19, 5 p.m. to 7 p.n. Happy Hour with the Friends of Pretzel Park. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to support Pretzel Park.
  • Sept. 20, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Join Roots2Rise for free yoga in the park. Donations are encouraged and those who donate will receive a free drink ticket to use at Parks on Tap that day.

Pretzel Park is located at 4300 Silverwood St. in Manayunk.

The last installment of 2018 Parks on Tap is Sept. 26 to Sept. 30 at Strawberry Mansion Bridge.

Parks on Tap is an initiative with the city that kicked off in 2016, aiming to engage the Philadelphia community and give back to the neighborhood parks. It is a partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy and Avram Hornik of FCM Hospitality.
