Parks On Tap Coming To Gorgas, Pretzel Parks

ROXBOROUGH-MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — Parks on Tap's 2019 season is in full swing, and the popular roving beer garden is making stops in Roxborough and Manayunk.

Gorgas Park in Roxborough will host the beer garden from Wednesday, July 31 through Sunday, Aug. 4.

Then in September, Parks on Tap will be held in Manayunk's Pretzel Park Wednesday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 22.

Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 4 p.m. to 11 p.m Fridays; 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays; and noon to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Food options include brisket cheesesteak, quinoa salad, smoky deviled eggs, potato salad, and chocolate chip cookies.

Drinks include nine different beers, wine, hard cider, iced tea, and lemonade.

Each stop of Parks on Tap features seating and tables, games, and temporary restrooms.

A portion of the proceeds raised from Parks on Tap go to support the participating parks.

Gorgas park is located at 6400 Ridge Ave. in Roxborough. Pretzel Park is located at 4300 Silverwood St. in Manayunk.
