Pennsylvania Teen Chosen to Perform at Donald Trump's Inauguration
A 16-year-old Pennsylvania girl and runner-up on America's Got Talent will perform the national anthem at Donald Trump's inauguration.

A 16-year-old Pennsylvania girl has been selected to perform the national anthem at Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony in January. Pine Township's Jackie Evancho will do the honors.
Boris Epshteyn, the director of communications for the presidential inaugural committee, called Evancho "an inspiration for all Americans."
Evancho issued her first album at age nine, and at age 10, finished in second place in the fifth season of America's Got Talent. She has since then produced five more albums and performed live on several major stages, including Carnegie Hall, Cirque du Soleil, and a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game, among other locales.

Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States on January 20, 2017.
