Philadelphia School District Opening 2 Hours Late Thursday
After an early dismissal Tuesday and a cancellation Wednesday, the district is opening on a two-hour delay Thursday, March 22.
PHILADELPHIA – All School District of Philadelphia schools will open on a two-hour delay Thursday, March 22, the district said Wednesday night.
The district said certain yellow buses may experience delays – possibly significant delays – due to road conditions Thursday.
All district-operated early childhood programs will open on a two-hour delay, as well.

District administrative offices will be open on time Thursday.
After-school activities including athletic programs and professional development sessions set for Thursday will continue as scheduled.
