Philly Home To State's Best Dive Bar, Yahoo Travel Says

South Street’s Tattooed Mom is the state’s best dive bar, according to a new analysis by Yahoo Travel.
The bar “has a name that makes it hard to ignore, but if there is any doubt about its dive-worthiness, check the brunch menu. The Breakfast Bomb Pita is pizza, eggs, and tater tots rolled into one meal. Dive bomb,” Yahoo Travel says.
The ranking picks the 50 Best Dive Bars in the country, selecting one per state.

Tattooed Mom describes itself as a “melting pot of good people of every stripe. We’re the perfect spot for a casual lunch, dinner or late night snack with an always yummy bar menu and ever changing draft list of the best local and regional beer.”
The bar has two “floors of fun” with seating, an upstairs bar, a lounge and two pool tables. “Toys, candy, and an eclectic variety of art bring out a smile in everyone,” the restaurant says on its website.
